What are your thoughts/comments on STAGG 132.1 Proof Bourbon Barrel Proof Unfiltered?

I have a chance to pick up a bottle, maybe two, at $49.99, but I have never had it and I haven't found much info on SB so far.

I have not seen it, in my area for at least a year. Is it a worthy buy? On the bottle, it's written B14 199 0849N

if you plan on drinking or sharing them in next 1-5 yrs, go for it. They're not Geo T Stagg but at the price you note, well worth it.

May I ask why you say "drinking or sharing them in next 1-5 yrs"? Is there some longevity issue with it?

I'd love to try it, since I can get it for $49 but I can't see it being twice as good as EC12, which is $25.

You might want to taste that sooner rather than later. If you really like it, it will be worth going back to get more because there's no guarantee the next batch will be as agreeable. (Batch variation has been an issue with Jr.)

I was not a fan of batch 1 or 2 but batch 3 is great! It's sort of a middle ground of EHTBP and ECBP. Buy it!
