dcbt
I couldn't think of which thread to put this in (several options, including the Boom Peak discussion, the Costco lawsuit thread, etc) so it's a standalone:http://www.dallasnews.com/business/retail/20150422-selling-liquor-in-texas-was-once-calm-until-it-went-on-steroids.eceI have never been to a Costco and always wondered how they sold liquor in Texas. "Costco isn’t waiting around for Texas to change the rules. It hooked up with San Antonio-based WB Liquors and is carving out space for WB in several Costco stores across the state. The next one, coming soon — with its law-abiding separate entrance — is at Costco’s West Plano store on the North Dallas Parkway."
gblick
But the Costco stores here in Texas can't sell the Kirkland branded bourbon, which I've heard is very decent and a great value. I forgot the reason why, but it may have something to do with the store being owned by WB Liquors rather than Costco itself.
