jwes1776
If you like the 4 roses, I'd try Bulleit as well. I like it better than OGD, though I haven't had the 114. Bulleit was primarily made with juice sourced from 4 roses f I am not mistaken.
Dave43
Give OGD114 a try. It's available locally and I don't think you'll find it too sweet. Let us know what you choose.+1......plus one
squire
Oh definitely, sweet does not come to mind when thinking of Grand Dad, it's in there but the dry rye is forward.
Coop776
Since you are a single malt guy you might find this hard to believe, but there are a lot of good bourbon options in plastic jugs. None of them small batch, but all these are pretty good and come in plastic:AAA 10*JW Dant BiBOld Taylor 6 yr (still a few out there with age statement)Not advocating for plastic, I prefer glass, but bourbon is a strange market where plastic doesn't have to mean rotgut. altadoc
like many others i would second, third (whatever its up to at this point) the OGD 114. reasonable price, good bourbon, high proof is nice in cocktails
squire
I am a plastic advocate, they don't break when dropped on the kitchen tile floor.
