Last week I led a tasting (and gave a presentation) on Rye Whiskey. Unfortunately you can't partake in the tasting, but you can see the presentation (the link is here).

We drank the following:

• Trybox New Make Rye – unaged
  
• Rittenhouse Straight Rye – aged / bonded
  
• (rī)1 – ultra premium
  
• George Dickel Rye – Tennessee / Indiana
  
• Alberta Premium – Canadian
  
• John Jacob – micro / craft distillery

Looks like a lotta fun! If any folks really liked the (rī)1, it was all over the place for $20 not too long ago (and for many months at that price point). I finally bought a bottle, and wish I would have just bought the Ritt next to it
