GaryT
Started off the evening with a HHSS SB#1. After a b!tch of a day at work, I probably should have started somewhere else - as I enjoyed it, but tend to take bigger sips on days like today

MOwhisky4me
Old Forester Signature... Butterscotch and caramel turning to a touch of woodiness and wrapping up with plenty of spice and a little bite... Just a nice everyday kind of bourbon! meadeweber
While in the Bahamas, had a pour of Blanton's Special Reserve. I found it thin and light. No surprise I guess given the proof.
Ravensfire
Wellllllll, I returned from the dermatologist's office this afternoon, with some iffy news, and a sore spot that needed numbing.I thought and thought; 'What can I pour to do the numbing, and soothe my other issues?'I came up with a bottle of Willet's Family Estate Bourbon, eleven years old, S.B., that I had put away, and hadn't poured for quite some time.... A gift from my baby boy some years ago.At 121.6-proof, I figured it would do the numbing in reasonably short order. It did. As for the other 'issues'? I'm gettin' there...... :bigeyes:Hope things turn out for the best and while I don't have any WFE nearby, here's some CEHT BP poured to your health! GrPeMi
Cracked open a new road-trip acquired 1792. First time with this, and while I don't have any detailed notes, I can say that I'm really enjoying it, and I'm looking forward to trying the new specialty releases like the wheat, when they finally show up here. Golzee
Old Forester Signature... Butterscotch and caramel turning to a touch of woodiness and wrapping up with plenty of spice and a little bite... Just a nice everyday kind of bourbon! It's a tough choice between OF Signature and WT101 for my favorite pour. They are both readily available and f...... delicious. Prost! Zum Wohl! kcgumbohead
Had another pour of GD9 as I try to get a handle on the profile. It reads differently to me glencairn vs. rocks and I saw a review that mentioned a rocks glass bettering the glencairn for that particular bottles profile. For me and this bottle from this barrel the glencairn wins and I keep coming away with a distinct root beer soda characteristic from this one. Its occurred over several pours/days so I am going with it and once I got used to it, I like it, unusual but definitely a pour I enjoy.

GAbiker
After seeing ETL at 2 different stores (Way overpriced at $59.99) I thought I'd have a pour of my $29.99 bottle of ETL. Wonder if the more expensive bottles tastes better...Don't think so
LCWoody
Enjoying some Old Scout single barrel tonight. 8,9 and 10-year-old. There is a little noticeable difference between each one, and my favorite is the 9y. But all three are very good.

fozzy71
Working on killing my first handle of Larceny since it is nearing the end and it takes up so much space on my small shelf for open bottles. So tasty. I also pulled out the 200ml vatting of Stagg Jr and Bookers I made yesterday to revisit. It was hard to taste anything else last night after that pour but it might have had something to do with the extra big swig I took to kill that had a bit of a burn. Paddy
Cracked a bottle of OF Sig tonight. It's had been languishing in the bunker and somehow jumped right into my hand! Good caramel nose, then hits with a big hot cinnamon note followed with dry oak and leather. Right off the bat, I'd rate it a little thin in the mouth and hot on the finish. It's been years since I've had this... additional research will be required.:skep:
Jazz Nut
3 1.5 oz pours in front of me: OWA, Michters Cask Strength Rye, and ECBP 64% abv. All are good, but ECBP might be taking the prize tonight!

flahute
After an extended rye kick with some OGD114 thrown in for good measure, I'm mixing it up a bit with some SAOS 10yr SiB barrel proof. I'm not a fan of the standard 10yr, but this one is working for me. No clue if it's the high or low rye mashbill. It has a glue smell right out of the bottle but that goes away after 3-4 minutes rest in the glass. I will follow Paddy's lead and the mandate for more research.
