Closing in on the last pour from one of my Shopper's Vineyard 'Rutledge Selection' bottles. Probably the best OBSV PS I've had.

Pulled every mingle I have (except for the SB blend and Alberta Dark mix that are downstairs) out of the cabinet for tonight. Starting with stagg jr batch1 / bookers mix I made a couple days ago. tasty stuff but not sure it's better than either of those 2 on their own so probably won't mix another when this 200ml is finally empty. After this numbs my taste buds I will probably focus on the motor city gas mixes I made.

Starting the evening off with a pour of SAOS 10 year. This stuff is really nice, much better than the 7 year bottle I've got. Doing a little reading of Bourbon Empire and listening to the ball game. Glad it's Friday.

OF Sig followed by 4R private selection SB. A trend that will likely continue throughout the weekend...

Pre-birthday celebration and I have declared it a wheater night. I don't do this often. Started with ORVW10 and the caramel goodness that it delivers. Currently on some HHSS#2. As the kids these days say: OMG. Will finish the evening with a healthy '14 WLW. I should sleep well tonight.

Well if you're going wheater, you're going doing it the right way and going BIG. Hope you have a great celebration weekend, as it seems to have kicked off rather nicely!!!:bis:

Two open OGD114's is a very good situation to be in.

Thank you sir! The WLW currently is my glass is exquisite.

For the remainder of the weekend, there's going to be a 4R night which will include a couple PS barrels followed by the '14 SmB LE and the 125th SmB LE. There will also be a BTAC night including everything except the WLW.......of maybe I'll have another!

This Saturday morning finds me enjoying a nice pour of WLW 125.3 just because I can. It was a busy week at work, but I'm at a point in life where I work because I want to. I'm able to let many changes at work not annoy me as they do some of my colleagues.

Well enough of that it's on to my coffee.

When I saw your name as the most recent poster on this thread, and, that it was Saturday morning, I predicted there would be some WLW in your glass and you did not disappoint.

I salute your positive outlook on life.

Last night I opened my second bottle of MMCS. I must say this bottle seems more flavorful than the first. Others in my area must think so as well since the new price had jumped $20 to $79. It's good but not that good.

Now this morning and up to now OGD114 is making this a great Saturday!

Cracked open a VSOF12. In the battle of the bargain 12 year wheaters, I think it beats Weller 12.

Decided to open a couple of samples that I've had sitting around a while. Starting off with a pour of ECBP Batch 3. I'm thinking next a GTS 2013 pour....

Kicking off the birthday celebration with some 4R LE SmB 125th. One of the finest whiskeys ever made (in my limited experience). Will follow with the '14 LE SmB and then it will be off to dinner out at a fine local establishment. If I still have capacity by the time we get home, I have a 12yr old OBSK waiting in the wings.

After working outside all day in the humid Missouri heat, I simply wanted to drink something light and smooth this evening while relaxing on the couch so... Weller SR on ice. Just what the doctor ordered!
