Thank you, C. Luckily for me this garage also houses a fridge. And, said fridge cools a bottle of HH BIB 6 yr. Actually, luck has nothing to do with it...

KCSB. Still cannot get over that in my area this remains less expensive (adjusted for strength) than regular KC.

My wife and I shared a very nice bottle of cabernet last night, but an hour or so later I had a nightcap of ER10. This bottle has confounded me a bit. Sometimes it's just okay, and other times, like last night, it was a delicious blast of butterscotch goodness.

Last night got away from my norms and had a couple of pours of Baker's. Seems like Booker's and KC get all the love but Baker's is a good 107 proof pour.

Last night started with EWBIB (eucalyptus up front) followed by Virgin 101 7YO (spicier) . . . a tie. I enjoy both on their own, but for fun, may experiment and vat these two.

Finished off my Booker's 2015-3 last night, well except the last pour that went into the vatting decanter, and tonight to start off the holiday (by God it's finally football season) weekend I plan on opening my first bottle of KCSB PS. If this is real good there is no way I'll be able to hold off from getting a case, or two.

VOB BIB. Somebody help me out here. This is not the 6YO and I don't have a bottle for a SBS, but as a BIB it all comes from a single season. Logically, that means it is at least 4YO, maybe 5YO. Can not be a mingling of older and younger to "average 6YO."

I lamented the passing of the 6YO but, frankly, I am quite happy with the NAS as an inexpensive daily pour.

Keeping it simple. Kirkland's 7 yr 103. Went to the back patio and lit a cigar. 5 min into it a lightning/ thunderstorm barreled down. Put out the cigar and went inside. Bourbon is just acceptable inside as it was outside.

John J. Bowman, the A.Smith Bowman single barrel 100 proof. Dark chocolate with a whiff of vanilla sauce. Yum.

OWA in the Glencairn, HH and Coke Zero in the tumbler, Led Zeppelin III Remaster on Spotify, reading Packers.com.

As my friend T-Bone used to say: "Who's better than me?".

LZ III. One of Zep's finest, but most underrated albums. Good tunes and good bourbon. Cheers man.
