Stagg Jr. Batch 4. Really complex. There are a lot of different flavors. I'm just not good at describing them. It's very good.

Made a nice dent in a family-size Larceny.

I still get a kick out of the notion of a "family" size bourbon bottle.

Gather round kids! It's time to warm everyone's bellies.

On topic, went out with some colleagues after work and enjoyed an Elmer T Lee. Back home, just finished the SAOS 10yr barrel proof.

so many bourbons, so little time.........

Ain't that the truth!

Been on a beer kick of late but had some 4R BP last night after a long frustrating day at work. So nice. ..

Went with SAOS 9yr D&M, WTRB, BeamBonded last night. The BeamBIB is really growing on me, its going to be a regular in my cabinet.

Last evening, some SAOS 7 year, which is always solid. The night before, some of the new 127.2 CEHTBP. With some airtime, this is quite good. Again, I would say that any talk of the 127.2 not being as good as the previous batch is overblown. This is some very good stuff if you can find it, IMHO.

Finished off an OBSO before pouring a big ol' GBS RRSmBSB. I don't know if this is my favorite GBS pick (the OBSK was mighty fine!), but thankfully - I don't have to choose between the two  Sorta like those Almond Joy commercials. "Sometimes you feel like an OBSK, sometimes you don't . . . "

Nothing special... Well, guess I shouldn't say that because it's in the name... Weller Special Reserve.

It's been awhile for some bourbon, especially something new. Finally situated in CO permentally. Tonight having some Stagg Jr. 9 Yr. Old (Batch 3) (132.1 Proof). A bit hot, but some nice sweetness to it. High Proof Warning!

The last of a Blade and Bow sample. Not bad but I'm glad I got the sample. It wouldn't be a recurring buy for me.

Liked the Four Roses OESK store pick I opened last night I had a pour tonight. And then my beloved Cardinals also came back and beat the Giants so I had to have another!

A little BT, which proved to be an excellent fruit fly trap. Little bastards. Dumped out the dregs with flies and replaced it with some VOBBIB6. Finishing the evening with some WTRB.

1792 Sweet Wheat followed by Stagg Jr. Batch 4. A stark contrast in bourbons but it was a nice progression from one to the next.

Took the team out for dinner last night in Canada, and fortunately the restaurant had a better stash than the hotel. I enjoyed FRSiB and Bookers with the meal.

Tonight having some Stagg Jr. 9 Yr. Old (Batch 3) (132.1 Proof).

I feel like I've seen several people refer to Stagg jr with an age statement recently (or maybe just you multiple times hah). As far as I know it's assumed to be 8-9 years old but there is no statement - or did they actually add one to the bottle? Been out of touch up here in Canada for a month but that would still surprise me.
