From choice to bottling and sale, did you think Beam nailed the profile you had chosen?

Of the five or so Roundtable editions you have been part of, after bottling have you realized favorites among them?

Recently I have seen both a Center Cut and a 2013-6 available locally, between the two which one would you go for?

Anybody else have an opinion?

Cheers,

RW

I love this question, and hope to hear about lots of people's roundtable favorites (in addition to Mr. Cowdery's perspective).

Excellent. I can get the center cut for $43, so I'll grab one and see. I've been drinking too much Buffalo Trace lately and am looking for a new flavor profile

I've been drinking too much Buffalo Trace lately

Is that possible?

FWIW - any batch of Booker's under $50 seems like a pretty good deal to me

Heheh, that was a little tongue-in-cheek..

Other than OGD, I sit down with BT, OWA, Stagg JR, ER10 quite often. Been a while since my last Bookers. I'd like to be impressed

That's impressive. I found a shop with a few center cut available but at $57

The State of Oregon has decided that we get to pay $63 for Bookers...and I just picked up a Center Cut the other day. The advantage of laying hands on it vs. ordering it over the 'net is that you know what batch you're getting. And it's hard to get a bottle shipped here for less than $63 total.

IIRC the MI min price is $60 so don't feel too bad. thankfully I still have 2 different older batches I got on my IN trip on sale for $36. obv kick myself for not buying every bottle they had at the time

Yeah...got a great price on a Blanton's while road tripping through NorCal this summer, but no such luck with Bookers.

Pulled out my 2014-07 yesterday, and there was more left than I thought. Certainly won't need to buy another for a while...

I don't often reach for Booker's, but I thought Center Cut was pretty damn good. $44.99 and that fancy pants varnish made it even better.
