kjbeggs Posted September 23, 2015 Sounds great, but what did you think?GaryI quite enjoyed it, but I'm a pumpkin fan.i want to experiment with ratios, and base liquor (higher vs lower proof, Rye vs Bourbon, wheater vs high Rye, etc.)
GrPeMi Posted September 24, 2015 Might have to experiment with something like this over the weekend.Think I'll skip the Tennessee fire and make my own cinnamon infusion, though.
GrPeMi Posted September 27, 2015 So I took a first swing at my own version, using this as my spice syrup:http://www.onesweetmess.com/2013/09/09/homemade-pumpkin-spice-syrup/2 oz. Baby Saz1/2 oz. spice syrup4 dashes Bitter Housewife Cardamom BittersStir over ice and strain.Taste was really good, but I think I let the syrup get too hot & boil, and it got this weirdly gummy texture.
