Sluggo
I just sat down with a nice pour of Weller 12. This is such a treat as the last bottle I had was while visiting my brother in Florida this past March. Sadly I maybe posting in the Empty Bottle thread later tonight. Flyfish
Immutable Laws of the Universe #17: No matter what direction the wind blows, the leaves always pile up in front of the garage door. After clearing them, and reclearing them, some FRSB and then some OBSF.
jeffrey r
Weller 12 for me too last evening. This is apparently a 2011 bottling. Very good I might say.

MOwhisky4me
Just a few pours of good ol' EC12. To me this is one of the "measuring sticks" of the bourbon world. A well aged bourbon produced in sustainable/obtainable volume by a respectable distillery in a consistent profile. Some are better... But many aren't as good. Golzee
JBB "extra aged". There is definitely a drop in quality in my mind from the 8 year. The 8 year felt smooth and rounded, the nas black, was dry in a bad way and had a completely different flavor. I will be buying some old labels when I see them. OldDrinker1978
FRYL vatted with OGD114 sipped from a Cognac Snifter. This tastes alot like Blanton's actually. Highly recommended!
RiverRat
A small 4PM pour of 4R PS/GS OBSQ before a board meeting about local private roads. This has never my favorite gift shop bottle, but it's under-performing today compared to my recollections. Maybe the fennel undertone and varnishy finish are reflective of my bitter mood going into this pow-wow. I expect I'll be into several more barrel proof bottlings later in the evening........we'll see if it's me or them
Sluggo
A generous pour of George T. Stagg JR. Batch 4. I'll be interested in how batch 5 stacks up to this one. My area is just now getting batch 5 on their shelves.

Sluggo
Who has ever accidentally inhaled a high proof bourbon like George T Stagg Jr. down thier windpipe? Yikes! What a painful experience.

Trying to decide if I should spring for it. I do fear too much wood so I'm hesitant to spring for it.On topic, started the evening with a healthy pour of Larceny (last of the bottle so it was a big one). Now working on the EWBIB white label. Not overly fond of it so it's in the "bottles to kill" slot on the shelf.
Louisiana
Been enjoying ECBP & Weller 12. These seem to taste better every time a new bottle is opened.Might crack open an ETL this evening. Keep hoping to restock the ETL & Weller 12 in my bunker, but it's kinda tough nowadays.Funny thing is William Larue Weller was easier to come by than Weller 12.I know. Same thing just barrel proof. I'm convinced that WLW and ECBP are cherry picked though. They gotta be!
