A friend gave me a bottle of the Single Oak Project awhile back. Opened it on a while last weekend and it actually isn't bad. Not great...but drinkable.

Mrssmokinjoe is out in San Fran on business, so Littlesmokinjoe and I hit her favorite Japanese place for dinner. Hibachi steak and a Kirin beer for dinner, now I'm back enjoying a splendid Four Roses SB just to keep it in the family.

Had a healthy pour of ER10 at a bar I wandered into at the end of the day. Bartender decided to just finish the bottle off and gave me a glass full (no complaints). Kept it classy with airline bottles of MM and OGD in a paper cup in my hotel room

Having a taste of a tax stamp pre-fire HH old Fashioned Bourbon "Charcoal Filtered!" (I believe the charcoal filtering is done rather than chill filter...so not the Lincoln Process.) Not bad.....

Finishing off the night with a couple of Old Charter 10-year-olds. I like the newer old label (on the left) better than the older old label (on the right), but both are very good.

Getting close to finishing up a bottle of Smooth Ambler Old Scout 10yr. Really enjoying this stuff but on the fence about whether I prefer the 7yr more. Either way, the man sure does pick really good barrels!

I'm enjoying some WTMK. The first night I didn't care much for it. I had drank a few heavy hitters before trying it.

Tonight I had a fresh palate and this is a really good whiskey. Definitely different than any else in my cabinet. I like it!

Enjoying a vatting of FRYL:OGD114 at 3:1. Really smooth and enjoyable. I like it just as much as BT104 I think.
