O'DubhGhaill
I'm finding it here in Central New York state consistently at $51-52 and there are always +2 on the shelf at any given time in any given store.

Hop
It's moved up to $59.99 here in NC with sale price a couple of times a year coming down to about $55 - in BG KY I picked up several bottles on sale at Meijer's for right @ $50 back in the summer but it was $53.99 last month when I was there
fishnbowljoe
I bought a bottle last year while on vacation in the Boston/Providence area. Paid $47.99 back then. I got lucky here at home shortly after that. A store near me got some, and I was able to get a bottle. They evidently hadn't updated their price/cost list in a while. Got it for $35.99. The next shipment they got in was priced $25.00-$30.00 higher IIRC. Back to reality….. :frown: It's on the shelves at a few places around where I live now. Prices range from $57.99-$65.99. Joe
atbat82
I can usually find it around here for $45-$50. It's been out of stock for a while, but in the last few weeks seems to be back. Last place I stopped in had 8-10 bottles.
TheJimmy
I've been slowly adding Blanton's to my Retirement Bunker in the belief that price will raise quite a bit in the near future. Added a bottle from Barrel 420 to the Bunker for $51 last week.

GAbiker
Now I feel kind of bad that I passed it up at $45 today.Been a LONG time since I've seen Blanton's at $45. I'd have bunkered a couple. Although I prefer RHF...haven't seen that in the mid $40's in a while. Glad I have a few already.

smokinjoe
If there is a bourbon that's worth some of these prices we're seeing here, it would be Blanton's, IMO.I feel like I'm stealing when I see $60 on this World Class whiskey. If I were asked to bring an everyday release example of the best that American bourbon has to offer to some sort of International competition, my first choice would be Blanton's. For that, the OP's $79 doesn't seem out of line at all to me, really.

mrfat
Haven't seen it on the shelves here for probably the past 6 months. Same with RHF.

b1gcountry
I can find it if I want to in stl, but I don't want to Try something for $60 when I have so many other bottles to try.
theranman
I can usually track it down here in SW Ohio for about $54, which includes taxes. But in nearby KY and IN, it seems to run about $58-$60 before taxes. Might be the only bourbon cheaper in OH than KY.
Tucker
Virginia ABC had it priced at $54 for a 750 and $25 for a 375. Huh? Plenty of both available.

O'DubhGhaill
Very fine redhead reviewing Blanton's in French no less: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=r2GhjKwyTVI at 2:45. My wife picked me up a bottle of Straight from the Barrel from this very shop when she was in Paris in October - absolutely amazing whisk(e)y display at both La Maison du Whisky shops! Indeed, I was mesmerized by her review without understanding a word save for "Blanton's" "Gold" and a very few others - so classy all around!
