It didn't sound appetizing but I changed my mind after a taste. The bite of the rootbeer cuts the sweetness of the cream.

I just bought a bottle for Thanksgiving, thinking we'd throw it in some coffee. But, I love root beer and want to try this. F2, do you recall the ratio Freddie used? Thanks. Flyfish
Don't recall an exact ratio. Looked like he just poured half way and topped off.
Paddy
You could pour that stuff on horse manure and I'd taste good...

MGOBLUE
+1 on the ice cream. We should figure out what else you can pour it on. I used 1/3 BT Cream and 2/3 rootbeer since I liked it sweeter. It tastes like a rootbeer float.

b1gcountry
I poured it over some great stuff in college. Unfortunately she wouldn't let me take any pictures
starhopper
Occasionally, I substitute it for the cream I have in my coffee in the morning - makes my day go so much better!
Golzee
Anybody use this in a White Russian in place of regular heavy cream? Could be lethal as all parts would be alcohol...

Not sure what Freddie used, but this recipe is from the BT site - Buffalo Float – The grown up Root Beer Float! 2 oz Buffalo Trace Distillery Bourbon Cream 4 oz root beer Combine in glass and serve. For extra richness, pour over 1 scoop vanilla ice-cream.

I love root beer, and have found Barq's to be a good complement to drink along side my bourbon, from time to time. I'll try mixing that with the BC. I also recently picked up some Frostie 's , which I am loving. Looks like I have some things to try tomorrow while putting out the Christmas decorations and smoking a pork butt! I have also found Barq's to be a good compliment to bourbon. Found out by accident, but it works.
