OldDrinker1978
I have just returned from a vacation on which I bought a bottle of Booker's at a quite well known German Liquor Store. Now the Batch No leaves me puzzled. It says Batch 2015-02. When I google for that batch it tells me it's Dot's Batch but that again has a totally different Label, Proof and Age than the one I bought. Check that Label on the Photo. Maybe somebody knows more about this Batch? I saw this particular Batch of Booker's with that Proof and Age and Batch No on a couple different European Online stores as well...maybe it's a EU-only Batch? I'd be willing to bet that it's the same juice as the US released 2015-02, but I could be wrong. They could just be marketing it differently there. Also, I saw somewhere that they have applied for the names of the 2016 batches and the names are starting to get worse and worse haha.. Here is a link to the 2016 labels for those interested: https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicFormDisplay&ttbid=15285001000120
amg
Beam has used the same batch number for multiple batches before. You have to look at the age and proof in combination with the batch number to be sure.
T Comp
Not the same as US #2, Dot's Batch is 127.9 proof and 7 years-18 days.

Yeah, it's a different batch than Dot's, definitely. Not same age and proof and even the Bottle Shape is slightly different. I didn't know they are making Europe-only Batches but cool to know. The Batch is excellent by the way.

kat
For any who are interested, I was looking for what I *believe* to be the European 2015-02. After extensive discussion with someone at Jim Beam, we concluded that the closest thing being sold in the states is the US version of 2015-03, which is 63.6 ABV and only 23 days older than the European 2015-02. Note this conversation with someone at Jim Beam also confirmed that there are batches sold only in Europe. Edited December 10, 2015 by kat
