What Is Your Standby When Nothing Tastes Right?

When I pour something that just isn't doing it for me, I have been finding myself going back to a couple standbys, notably BT and OGDBIB. What do you do when you strike out on your first pour?

PS, I think I'm going to start shortening OGD BIB to OB

Easy. OGD BIB or 114.

PS - don't shorten it to OB. Nobody will know what you're talking about or they might think you mean Old Blowhard. OGD BIB is long time standard.

I do it the other way around -- If I don't have a hankering for something in particular when I head to the bottle area, I'll look at them all, open and closed, for a couple minutes until something clicks.  If nothing clicks, I sometimes pass, and sometimes pick up BT or Larceny or OGD BIB or VIB BIB.
