Bourbon Christmas Tree

Finished up our 14th, and final Christmas Tree today...

I'm an old traditionalist, I like my Christmas trees set up on Christmas eve.  I can see exceptions of this rule.  

When I was a kid my dad and I would go to the woods and cut down a tree on the Sunday before Christmas and my mom and my siblings would decorate the tree on CHristmas eve afternoon while my dad would be at the church doing the same at the church.  The tree was taken down on New Years Day.

SR, that's a lovely tradition.  I too miss simpler times.  I get annoyed that everyone is pushing Christmas earlier and earlier each year.  Some people even start before Thanksgiving!  Can't I just enjoy one holiday at a time please?

I like the lights when u come home in the dark.plus I prefer not doing it in the freezing cold.
