I would love to hear what bourbon is the sweetest on your pallet.

my sweetest bourbon hit me today.

It was Old Grand Dad 114!!!

I find Barton to be sweet and fruity.  Not as much zing as the 114, but definitely sweet.  VOB BIB, if available where you are, is the standard bearer for the brand.

And once again we are aligned. VOB BIB was my answer before I even opened the thread.

Was going to say BT 90 proof which always hits me with candy apple.  BUT, lately VOB BIB has been my go-to.

I think it has to be my Stagg Jr (batch 4) - tried it again last night - it is very sweet to my palate.

1792 and VOB BIB are about the sweetest I can recall.

OGD 114 always had kind of a grassy cereal thing going on for me.

I agree with OGD114 being more grainy, and more rye in it.  OWA is probably the sweetest bourbon I've had, though I do remember BT being pretty sweet as well.

Those old wax dipped ETL bottles had a certain sweetness to them.  My sweet tooth really like those bottles.

I agree.  While I like VOB BIB well enough, it is not my favorite BIB.  I do not like 1792 very much and I think the reason is that it is too thin and too sweet and fruity.

I think the wheated bourbon tend to be a little sweeter and exactly what I love.

However, from memories for the sweetest and oddly, the Booker 25th Anniversary was like burnt brownie and supper yummy!

To me probably the sweetest was a store select of Ridgemont Reserve 1792.  But for off the shelf varieties, I'd have to say Maker's Mark, or Weller Special Reserve 90 proof.
