Stew
Evening fellas... Found a cocktail on line and thought I'd give it a try. Maybe some of you are familiar with it. I tried it for the first time tonight and in my honest opinion, rivals a Manhattan all the way. It's called a " Revolver " and delicious. Ingredients are: 2 oz Maker's Mark 1/2 oz Kahlua 2 dashes orange bitters Orange peel garnish Mix well in a mixing glass with ice cubes. Strain and serve in a chilled glass. Truly a very tasty cocktail!
Harry in WashDC
A couple of years ago, I came up with this to go with Chinese carryout when a person near and dear wanted something other than beer or plum wine to drink WITH dinner. I called it "Chinese Carryout". DUH 2 oz. rhum agricole OR some rum a little rougher than Barbancourt 4 yr. (which I love but is too smooth for this) 1 oz. fresh orange juice (or better yet juice from Mandarin oranges or tangerines or Clementines) 1/4 oz. (i.e., 1/2 tablespoon) Solerno blood orange liqueur (or equivalent) dash of Grenadine (for color, mostly) put them all in a double Old Fashioned glass, add some ice, AND fill up with ginger ale.
