Seeing tons of it in KY, and that's saying a lot for a place where most limitless/specials never make it to a shelf...

Easy pass, for me.

I've purchased and sampled over the last couple of days.  Not a bad whiskey, at all.  As Hop noted, it is sweet up front (presumably from the corn, and possibly high percentage of it, to boot) and turns oaky on the end.  I don't find anything "off" about it, and actually, find it quite pleasing.  The transition from sweet to oak is pretty interesting.

No complaints, here.

Another night with this, and I just have to say that this is a tasty whiskey on its own merits.  Barterhouse has been my favorite in thie Orphan Barrel line-up, so far.  The rest have been just a series of older bourbons that haven't done much for me.  But, I enjoy this one much more.  Two things stand out, to me.  It has a really nice mouthfeel.  Very viscous.  And, it I drinks well under its high proof.  Very drinkable whiskey.

Thanks for the notes, Joe. Given your perceptions and the high percentage of aged whiskey in this one I may give it a shot if it's not too pricey around here.

I got a bottle this weekend and got a chance to check it out.  As others have stated, it's very tasty with a thick mouthfeel.  The vanilla, caramel, and marzipan are very strong in the nose and finish.  I enjoyed it so much I went and got another.  All the bullshit marketing aside, it's a good drinker.

I was not going to get this but tried it at a party Sunday and was pleasantly surprised....so I guess I'm going to get a bottle or two.
