What TV Show(s) Inspire You to Have a Pour or Two?

I was watching my favorite TV show, "Justified" the other day, and found myself inspired to have myself a few pours of Elmer T Lee.  The show utilizes almost the entire Buffalo Trace product line, as well as WT101 and even Old Forester in a scene or two.

I was wondering.... what TV shows (if any) inspire you guys to pick up a glass and have a few pours?:D

Deadwood, justified, any good western.

Oh yeah - I forgot about Deadwood! Another favorite of mine.

Justified was a really good series, I watched all of the episodes that were on Amazon Prime. Duffy (bad guy character, I think that was his name) liked a 'kick' of Pappy20 in his coffee.

The evening news.

LOL.  Great minds . . .

Old movies with cocktail scenes usually inspire me to make classic cocktails.  "The Thin Man" has a bedroom scene in which Nick gets nicked.  He pours some bullet wound medicine from a Haig & Haig Pinch bottle although the label is obscured.  It was on last night while I was doing dishes so I poured some Dewar's even though I'm not a scotch person.

Boardwalk Empire for me.  I think many of the labels in the show were props (like the Grand Canadian Old Rye Whisky on the beginning).  They did talk about Old Grandad and Canadian Club.

Which is why I don't watch! I prefer to drink for pleasure instead of need. (Not that the latter doesn't happen plenty).

With the exception of the weekends, I'm never watching a tv prior to the evening hours.  So, what Squire said (at least on work days:D)!

Right now Suits and True Detective. Longmire before left AMC.

Longmire is now on Netflix. It does indeed inspire a sip or three.

Justified and MadMen, when they were airing.

Jessica Jones now.

Outlander makes me want Scotch, even though I'm not a big Scotch drinker.

Any time a Kardashian appears on my TV...

Blue Blood they are always drinking Scotch but it makes me want bourbon.

I always assumed they were drinking Irish in the home, given the family heritage.    I wonder now whether it's been identified.    I know when at a restaurant the Commish often orders a single malt, though.    I'll have to pay closer attention.

Wife requested an Old Fashioned for every episode of Mad Men. I find myself enjoying a cigar and a pour of something, usually bourbon, when we Netflix Poirot. We are up to season 3 episode 2.

Whenever I see Keeping up with the Kardashians on our tv, it inspires me to pour a tumbler full of the nearest distilled spirit and consult a divorce lawyer.

I was late to House of Cards, but that show goes great with bourbon given how often they have some on the show.
