Was wondering what people thought of this whiskey, I know it received high marks from Whiskey Advocate, reason I ask is I normally see it for around $70 but I just found some for $35 that even with shipping will only bring it to around $43.......is it worth it?.......never had Canadian product before so no real stick to measure it by.

Smoothest stuff I've ever had. Kicked myself for buying at $60 Cdn but at your price it would make a significant change from bourbon. Lots of manners but short on complexity and sophistication...

Not usually a Crown drinker, but saw this on sale at $32 (usually $69), so I took a chance and bought a bottle.   It is incredibly smooth and tastes great.  I may go grab another bottle at $32.

I was lucky enough to find a couple at $30 as well.  I like it, especially at that price.

I'd buy at that.  I'm not a regular CR drinker, but have found their higher end releases to be enjoyable when I drink them.

As would I! This has been on the shelf now for about 2-3 years so I suppose that explains the price cut to try to move it.

I'd buy one at that price too. Before I got into bourbon, I dabbled some with CC and CR. I remember a number of years ago when Crown had their Cask 16 out. I was interested, but just couldn't pull the trigger because of the price. IIRC it was in the $60-$65 dollar range. Then everyone put it on sale at 1/2 or more off. I bought one for myself, and one for my son. Even went back and bought a second one for myself when my bottle was almost empty. I really liked it. Now I wish I'd have bought a few more.

Cheers! Joe

That was my guess as well.  Probably just trying to get rid of inventory and make room for other stuff.
