Has anyone tried this.

I just saw it on Masters of Malt website.

I believe it is cask strength and exclusively aged in Sherry casks

spendy though and no age statement

Don't know about the Sherry, but CS Redbreast is wonderful over crushed ice or with a few drops of water.

Didn't know Masters of Malt had one too. Whisky Exchange has an exclusive single cask of Redbreast from a sherry cask but "spendy" doesn't really do it justice. Well over $200 a bottle so I passed on it with my most recent order in favor of the Midleton Dair Ghaelach Tree #9 which admittedly was equally spendy. Should get it this week!

Last year Redbreast did the Mano a Lamh, an all sherry batch of Redbreast, that was less than half the cost but it was very limited and as far as I know never got across the pond. Wouldn't have minded trying that one.

I've seen a lot of people praise it, but its price point is something I'll only pay for extinct stuff.

And Redbreast ain't extinct.

I too was seriously interested when I first saw the TWE exclusive bottling show up online, but the price was stratospheric. Read a few different reviews of it and evidently the distillate doesn't hold up to the sherry character in this one. Sounds like it was totally cask-driven and ended up unbalanced.

I agree... I would rather get a bottle of 21 yr

I was really interested in this also, but passed because of price.

The Redbreast 21 is a truly special whiskey.

Currently enjoying my second bottle. 3 more in the bunker.
