Has anyone had either of these and what do you think at $100 or so.

No sign of them here. The experiment is of some interest to me but even for a liter of whiskey it is hard to know what the value might be. $100 seems a bit of a reach but not all that surprising in today's market.

Seems a bit much for young MGP whiskey (if that is what it is, finished or not) but unfortunately I doubt we will get a transparent description of the base whiskey or much detail on the specific finishing done.

Maybe I am wrong and that information is already out there?

If I see these I won't be able to walk away fast enough.

I saw this on the shelf the other day but could not pull the trigger. Don't remember the numbers on the bottles or the price but remember it being too much to bring home

we talking about the boxed sets from last year or something new?  I thought the boxed sets were good deal for somebody that wants to try different flavors and see how wood changes things

I can afford the price.  What I can't broach is the thought of the people producing this stuff skipping to the bank laughing about those who would pay that price.

I'm not sure there has been an easier release for me to pass on in recent years, however, at least here in NJ I have now seen multiple stores selling individual bottles for between $11.99 and $15, so I plunged for the three I saw at $11.99.  I can say with no uncertainty that they were not even remotely worth the $36 I spent on 600ml's. For reference I purchased #'s 3, 5 & 10 and of the lot 10 was far and away the most enjoyable.
