That, and it's fun living vicariously through others here [emoji4] Cheers Well I'm not sure it will do you much good now, but figure it is worth following up! I bought a bottle of St. George Bruto Americano (I still don't have Cynar but I'll buy some soon - maybe the 70 proof) and added a half ounce or so to my same rum julep recipe I used before. Cynar would probably work better but the bitterness from the Bruto definitely helped tone down the sweetness and the whole drink seems a bit more cohesive.
