I thought this would be easy to find but to my surprise it isn't. Would anybody here be able to list the entire High West lineup (whiskey only) or direct me to a site that has it listed? I like knowing the family tree of distilleries.

You mean other than http://www.highwest.com/ ?  There's a list of current "spirits" there.

David Perkins, the owner, is both personable and interested in what his customers think as are the people who work with/for him.  Send them an email and ask your questions.  I sure hope you are pleasantly surprised.

That site sums everything up pretty well.

I went to the site but they don't have all their products listed. Couldn't find Light Whiskey, I remember images of a few other bottles too that I cant seem to find. It's the OCD in me that wants everything simplified in a list.

I didn't think of emailing them. Let's see if I'll end up posting the answer to my own question.

Thanks.

There are products they have produced in the past that are no longer on their site. I'm not sure they are still selling the light whiskey. Also boureye and soon of boureye are not there because they are limited releases.

Bourye is there under limited release products although Son of Bourye is not. They may have stopped making the SOB at the moment.

I believe the Light Whiskey (a 14yo MGP whiskey that seems to be pretty spendy at around $100) is exclusive to the distillery and saloon so probably doesn't make much sense to list on the website. I think they have or will be producing a High West Blue Sky Ranch Rye that will be an exclusive for guests of the pricey but beautiful Blue Sky Ranch where the distillery is located. Presumably something similar to Rendezvous or Double Rye but I don't remember the details (presuming I ever knew them to begin with which I am not sure I did!). And the former Oat whiskey based Valley Tan will now be a Red Wheat mashbill but that was a local bottle in the past.

I know High West was doing some malt whiskey as well using several different kinds of malt. I had a chance to try some last summer at the distillery and it was very good. But not sure how or when it will be released.

What's the difference between the Boureye on the shelves now compared to the original?

The orignal Boureye, was pretty darned good. The Son Of Boureye was also decent. IMHO, I think HW has the right idea in continuing the Boureye line, but the problem is the original is pretty much beyond duplication. The Boureye available now may be okay, but I can't imagine it  being anywhere near as good as the original. On the other hand......

I never had the original Bourye, but the new one is definitely very good. Perhaps not quite worth its asking price, but a legit whiskey and quite tasty IMO.

The original Bourye had some of the 16yr old Barton rye in the blend. (Along with three MGPI whiskies).

The new Bourye doesn't have the Barton, but still has the three MGPI whiskies.

This is great information. I actually prefer the SOB over the current Bourye right now.  The price differential is nice, too.

Bourye initially made its return about 2 years ago now. Here is a post I made at that time that discussed the differences in the mashbill.

It has since changed yet again when the Barton whiskey presumably finally ran out and is now all MGP sourced (See the mashbill listed here)

I had the opportunity to try the original Bourye and the Bourye from 2 years ago side be side in a blind tasting. I was surprised when I preferred the newer version! Probably need to try them again. For science of course!

I have not tried the most recent iteration that is all MGP. Not sure if there is something that confirms which bottle is which when it comes to the all MGP whiskey. I know that the original bottle label and the one released two years ago were slightly different as you can see in the picture in the last link above.
