This question is for anyone who had tried any. Those barrels don't make it down here. I'm hoping so because I paid a premium for it. Either way, I'm fairly sure it won't be bad. I'm just looking forward to seeing how much better, if any, it is from other bottles of Blanton's I've had.
Louisiana
Thanks for the feedback on the Blanton's. Maybe I'll find a private barrel one of these days. Thinking about ordering a few bottles of Blanton's Gold or Blanton's SFTB. Hear they are really good.

Taste from plastic cup. If it's an awesome honey barrel that agrees with your palate, immediately go back into the store and buy more.

I concur with this statement 100% on any single barrel bourbon, because I do it all the time.
Thig
You are risking getting charged with an open container violation in GA if you ride around with a bottle that has been opened.

True. In this situation, be sure the one open bottle is carefully stashed away and well hidden in the trunk separate from anything else you purchased. Journeyman
Picked up a bottle of WTRB. The thread comparing it to Booker's convinced me I needed a bottle on my shelf.
Flyfish
Thanks to a tip from the aptly named Whiskey buyer, I picked up some Larceny with the rebate tags around the collars. Way to go, Whiskey buyer.

In LA, if you get pulled over with an open container you have to give the cop a shot of what ever it is you have open......
beasled
A great friend is over from New York and brought a 9 and 10 year Smooth Ambler single barrel along with a Maker's Mark Cask Strength. Cheers all!
Tony Santana
Basil Hayden's. While never anywhere near my favorite, I've always thought it was a decent pour. Yeah, I know OGD 114 is the same mash bill, younger but less expensive, etc., but Costco had it for $28, which I thought was a pretty decent price. I think I'll get my money's worth. Ozark
Picked up the last two bottles of OWA. I let them sit over the weekend and no one wanted them. I just gave them a home. My cost was $24.95 for 750 ml.
vismatt
I picked up 3 bottles of Four Roses Single Barrel Private Selection - OBSO, OBSK & OESK. Looking forward to trying them side by side.
Redslayer
A Larceny (with the rebate tag) and another KCSB....... If only I could post more on the "empty bottle support group" thread than here.....sounds like a worthy resolution.
elmossle
Just another bottle of OWA. It is getting harder to have the W12 keep pace so I have ample supply to make the SB blend on a regular basis. I know, first world problems.
Golzee
2 bottles of JB BIB $18.99 apiece. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but there was a $15 mail in rebate on the bottle if you bought 2.

El Vino
OWA store pick. My first opportunity at a private selection OWA. Really looking forward to giving this a go this weekend. Will do a SBS with an open bottle to keep things on the up and up.

If that came from the Cockeysville area, then it's a pretty awesome bottle. Hoping that they still have some left when I make a trip back up to Maryland.
