Do you get total wine coupons online on there website?

I got a $10 off $50 in an email. Which means I paid just under $50 for the two bottles....

Lucked into this Saturday, and had a  smell of it Sunday before my fantasy draft, BEST bourbon I've ever tryed, couldn't focus on my picks, cause I couldn't stop thinking about it. I've been looking for one for awhile, and I was not disappointedScreenshot_2016-08-31-21-50-18.png

That's a great looking bottle, will have to keep an eye out for it.

As for buying, replaced a bottle of Elmer T. Lee that my brother-in-law destroyed over the weekend.

Found it for $50 in Las Vegas.

They are quite good when they are good.

I'm guessing that is from the recent release, and not old stock that has been hiding?

[AH!  Made it to September without buying too much in August.]  Montgomery County, MD, stores have JB BIB on sale for $17 plus sales tax.  I bought four.

And Paddy didn't think I could finish August without collapsing.  HAHAHAHA!!

Recently picked up 2 OWA Store Selects and RR SB Store Pick that was incredible, so I picked up another bottle.

Had been on a bit of an unintentional buying hiatus lately, but broke that today when I picked up an EWSB '07 and a Dickel #8.  These should round out whats still open on the bar quite nicely.

A Jeffersons Ocean V8 to be gifted to my brother-in-law.  (I bought on behalf of and at the request of my other brother-in-law who lives out of state).  I know Jefferersons is not much of a hit with most on here; however, the straw buyer really likes it.  I probably would not spend the $80 on it...but would be grateful to receive such a gift!

I'm a big fan of Port, and found a 1792(RR) Port finish at a store that I read good yelp reviews about in my new area. Very excited to try tonight!

One of my favorites finished bourbons. I actually like it better than Angel's Envy although some would disagree with me there.

I'll certainly agree with that! The mouthfeel, the port influence, all better than Angel's Envy to me. I'm thinking I should go back and buy another bottle. I'm really enjoying this pour!

Edit: angels may be a better Bourbon overall for balance sake. But for what I want in a port barrel finished product, is the dark, sweet fruit influence I get when drinking a nice port. I get that in this 1792...

And they can be quite bad when they are bad.  The only one I have tasted didn't do it for me.  I'll take the 12 year.

Needed to enhance my stock of solid drinkers for the second and subsequent pours of the evening. Grabbed a handle of WT101 on sale for $36 and change. Can't go wrong there and on some nights, it's the first pour of the evening.

Four Roses Elliot's Select.  Debated about this one, given the price, but the great reviews pushed me over the edge.
