I missed this if someone posted it already, but apparently SA is released its own wheat distillate soon.  I read somewhere it's supposedly around six years old.

I know I've heard of them releasing one from someone else in the forums, but I don't think there's a thread dedicated to it.  so thanks for the link!  well, maybe once you fix it

They have been waiting for it to be "ready" for some time. They released a bit over the years in 375's called Yearling when it was still quite young. Contradiction was a blend of their own distillate and MGP also when it was a bit young.

 

But it sounds like they finally think it meets their expectations. I hope it is good. They have done well so far with what they have bottled, whether it be sourced, theirs or some combination thereof. It appears they have elected to eschew an age statement at this point other than being bonded.

Hopefully this one will work.  At any rate, I'll certainly give this a try.  Smooth Ambler and Tom's Foolery are leading the charge in doing the right thing (sadly can't think of many others), and I want to support them.

I'll be on the look out for that one.  Their sourced MGP bourbon I've tried was nice.
