So, I'm hesitant to post this here because you guys know so much more than I do about Whiskey. But in the strength and conditioning world (my real job), I'm known as a whiskey connoisseur. Mark Rippetoe got me started in whiskey so this is a pretty cool and pretty basic Whiskey 101 meant for others in the S&C field to help educate them on the world of whiskey.

I hope you guys like it. Be kind. I'm sure I was off on a some basic facts, but for a meathead, I hope it makes you all proud. I've learned so much here from you all. :-)

You should have put on a disclaimer that you were using bad language.  For example, I heard you describe the SB blend as "Poor Man's P***y".

Great video, Matt. Your knowledge of, and passion for, good whiskey definitely shows and I'm sure you inspired some of your regular listeners/viewers to investigate the subject more on their own.

Seems like you're doing a great job of being a whiskey ambassador in the strength and conditioning world. It's funny, each of us is probably known as a whiskey expert to one of the circles we run in (friends, family coworkers, etc). Every time I tell one of my friends that I know only a fraction of what many SB.com members know, they're flabbergasted.

Well, that was sure worth the time.  Thanks for posting.  I was at loose ends this afternoon - the Dodgers-Nats doesn't start for several more hours, and I needed something to take my mind off the wait.  This hit that spot.

Thanks so much guys. It was really fun to make and hopefully I turn some more people on to the joys of whiskey in the strength and conditioning world.

Thank you for calling attention to these Mark Rippetoe videos. After watching the whiskey video I started watching the others and I've been tearing through them over the last couple months. They are incredibly helpful.
