Enoch
My other issue with OFBB is that, while I like the look of the bottle, they take a lot of space to store.....

He had two bottles of OF birthday 2016. He would only sell one to me if I bought the following package. 1 bottle of Yippee Ki Yay @ $60 1 bottle of OF 1920 115 proof at $70 1 bottle of OF Birthday at $80 Total $210 for 3 bottles but only one I was interested in. I passed and left with a bottle of ER10 and 4R but I am second guessing. He said he wanted to make sure he kept some for his regulars. I have only purchased about 5 bottles from him in the past year. Do you guys think that package is a good deal? I hate the forcing of packages to get one particular bottle, but everything in that package is good. The 1920 priced a little too high though. I actually think putting packages together to boost a stores sales using allocated items as the prize is a much better way of doing business than jacking the retail price up because you don't like what's happening in the secondary market. You are less likely to sell to flippers doing it that way too. I agree that the 1920 price was high but the other prices, including the OFBB were very good prices. I would have jumped on that deal. The only OFBB I've seen in the wild was priced at $138 per bottle. [emoji15] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Paddy
I'm sorry, but I can't get on board with 'extortion'. Whether he's extremely over-market priced, or wanting me to purchase x number of bottles of product a, b and c, if I'm not worthy (in the mongers opinion), I'll take my business elsewhere. It's his loss...

However, I still despise the forcing of packages. I'm fortunate to have purchased two bottles at retail price. Spend $200 on three bottles to get the one you want right now (and may or may not want the other two, but I'm sure they won't go to waste in any event). How is this that much worse than having to spend $10,000 (or whatever ungodly sum) in a year in the hopes the owner will set something aside for you without any real guarantee (and thereby preventing you from ever shopping around for best price because you have to give said owner all your business)? I guess the whole game right now is pick your poison.
