No more Pikesville 80 proof.

After I tasted the 110, I set my 110s aside and finished off the one 80 proof I had - even blending the two glass by glass to speed the finishing along.  As long as I can reduce the 110 to a lower proof, I'd have no reason to buy to 80, anyway.

I enjoyed it for the evenings when I didn't need something heavy or challenging. It has a great rye grain flavor (I'm a huge fan of 2-5 year old ryes) and it's easy to sip. And it's CHEAP!

Agreed.  The 80 is exceptionally drinkable.  As my preferences run to the sweeter end of the spectrum ( think VOB BIB then the Beams (BIB and KC) and on to OGD but not all the way to Canadian whiskey), it languished on the shelf along with my other ryes when I wanted something non-cocktail.  I turned to WT 101 and Ritt for cocktails, so the Pikesville 80 just sat there.
