squire Posted December 20, 2016 Share Posted December 20, 2016 I clearly recall the days when AAA 10 yr cost more than Van Winkle 10 yr and still outsold the VW by a wide margin. An often overlooked gem in the ensuing years but that was then and this is now. Of the three, Blantons, ETL and Rock Hill Farms, I've always preferred RHF just didn't like paying extra for the fancy bottle. That said RHF is still in the shadow of the other two, costs less locally and I bet I could lay hands on a bottle tomorrow for $45.00 or less because for some reason it just doesn't seem to sell around here.
