BUT, after reading the rest of this thread, I suggest putting a note in it or, better, engraved ON it telling future viewers who/what is inside.  I'd hate (although I'm laughing now) for some dusty hunter to find it years from now and think he or she can reconstitute the contents by adding water.  You know how we get with old bourbons.

 

Giving new meaning to the phrase "dusty hunter", indeed...

Good for You!    And, for your friends, I guess.     If I were to approach it this way, nearly everybody I know would be pretty old.... And, I'd have died at around age 127 or so.... not all that likely; but one can hope, I suppose.

I come from the arcade and pinball collecting world and over there we joke that our biggest fears is that our significant others would sell off our beloveds for what we told them we payed for them. As far as my meager collection it shall be gifted to friends. They have already been given the nod and know who they are.

Depends on when I kick it.  My wife would drink the wine and tequila and I'd happily tell her to give away or sell the whiskey.
