BFerguson
You should really try to bring something good..... Actually, all three are mine. [emoji16] For the event, while the townsfolk are drinking VW, I was going to be bringing in something else. It's a unique arrangement. Having this finally show up in Maryland has really put 2017 on track to be a good bourbon year for me. Care to share any opinions, Eric? I bought a single OE7 101 but haven't opened it yet. I'll taste it before I buy more but getting your opinion would be nice.

Quite nice now, but probably not a repeat purchase. Sipping this one again tonight. Such an odd dram, this is. One day it is nice and sweet, and tonight its heavy on wood and cinnamon. Astonishingly average, I would say. Not spectacular but not bad at the same time. Maybe it was the Henry Mckenna BIB and ECBP that preceded it? DeluxeReverb
Played a gig in Bowling Green last night. One of our singers went up early to bourbon shop and bought 13 bottles of HH BiB 6yo . I got 6, gave away two to bass player and guitar player. Also bought a bottle of Flatboat, which I will open eventually. Drinking the HH BiB tonight. BigRich
I've got a buddy who loves the JR Pritchards. I haven't tried it yet. To those that are poo pooing it, what is offputting about it besides the price?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Decided on a pour from what's left of this bottle I found while hunting in Bowling Green KY back in 2015 - SW juice from prior to the close of the distillery, I was very suspect of the cork so I decanted it and am down to maybe two more small pours. I've shared it with several people of which I'm glad and will be sorry to see it go but have been very happy to have had it. Beautiful.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Taste has a cherry medicinal quality to it. Reminds me of some sort of sore throat spray I had as a kid. Too bad, because I loved the JR Groth cask finished and was looking forward to this one.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Trying the I.W. Harper 15 year. Fairly pedestrian. I am glad that I did not squander money just for that fancy bottle.
