OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
I have been listening to _Les Voyages de L`ame_ (album by Alcest) on repeat. The Very Old Barton Bottled in Bond tasted divine last night. Tonight I will drink Barton BIB with Evan Williams BIB. No tasting notes, simply enjoying the intermingling of bourbon and French metal.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

bourbon4all
Started with a little Old Medley 12 which needed lots of air. It was good on the last sip instead of til. Than a little Bernheim 7 and Ambler 11 at the same time. Bernheim peaked half way through and slowly declined and Ambler once open just keeps getting better.... BFerguson
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.On a work trip, found a nice place for a pre dinner beverage. FR LE small batch 2016. Very good, and decently priced. Come around to dinner time, and find out we're having dinner at the same place. Dumb luck. And another pour of the same.Dinner was pretty good too.BSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hop
For me I had my first taste of Scotch or technically Japanese Whiskey in over a year from a bottle of Hibiki 12 - we were in the basement due to the weather systems in the area away from the bourbon on the main floor so my selection was limited... Followed it up with a pour from a bottle of BT from GoodTimes in Peavine TN

Thank you for that as it is an interesting read. The bottle is a 750. I took the original photo to show the proof as I did find a similar label but the proof is 90 vs. the 86 of my bottle. Had a wee pour last night and some additional pics.
CardsandBourbon
Son and I decided to loosen the cork on a bottle of Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The longer it was in the glass the more the flavor developed. Tons of caramel in it for me. Edited March 2, 2017 by CardsandBourbon

dcbt
In honor of Texas Independence Day, I poured some TX Bourbon. Enjoying a Shiner first, though, to let the bourbon breathe and hopefully rid itself of its awful nose.

kevinbrink
Started the night with a pour of a gifted bottle of Widow Jane 7 yr, which was fine if not a bit bitter, followed with a pour of MMCS which I still don't care for, then EWSB 2007 which is probably not the best EWSB I have had, closing out this night with a pour of Mellow Corn and honestly I'm enjoying it quite a bit recognizing fully that the 3 previous pours may be having an impact at this point.
