Would restock at the original $29. Anybody seeing this? Only store picks at Astor Wines in NYC and a Supermarket in NJ. I could be wrong but I think that is how they do it just store picks not a regular bottling. Cheapest I've seen it here is $40.
OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Nice size pour. I am enjoying some RR10 and WTRB tonight. Great duo BBNBourbon! Let's hope that duo helps the Cats overtake the Gators tomorrow.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Golferpimp1
Also broke the cork on mine tonight. Had a bit too much of this on new years eve...Figure it's time to give it another shot. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
poli_sci_prof
Started off with Jim Beam Black, followed up with EC. Fighting Cock was next, and now with Evan Williams Black.
OldFitzWithTheGoldLabel
Masset1982 and Golferpimp1, I managed to keep the cork intact when opening this beautiful bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed. BBNBourbon, if I didn't crack open the WT Rare Breed and the Cats lost tomorrow, I would feel at fault. The least that I can do for Hawkins, Willis, and the boys is have some RR 10 followed by Rare Breed.Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Yes, it's one of the few store selects still available in these parts anyway. I've compared various store selects directly to the standard Full Proof and all have been superior to the standard. If you get a chance, grab one.

I'd compare it to Woodford. The new ones I've seen are in the $50 range, still 90 proof, and is way overpriced in my book. I'd rather buy the 1897 BiB for exactly the same price. I liked that one a lot better than the single barrel I tasted.
Wedelstaedt
Standard BT tonight. A very good representation of the word Bourbon. On the WTRB broken cork issues, I have cracked several RBs and the only to ever break was a bottle from 1997. But WTKS on the other hand, those break pretty easy... go figure

I'll take a lousy cork (with great bourbon) over a great cork (with subpar bourbon) seven days a week. Flahute used his stash of corks to come to the rescue for his bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed. I may need to keep a decanter on hand for cork-induced emergencies. I do think that Wild Turkey produces some very visually appealing bottles, so I would rather keep my WT bourbons in their original bottles. Hopefully they will get around to getting better corks. I think that their bourbons are all fairly priced (although I am not as sure on Master's Keep level as I have not tasted the bourbon to judge if it is fairly priced), maybe they pass their cork savings on to us. JTaylor
Before you recork your bottles ya just gotta stick your tongue into the neck of the bottle and lick out that bourbon residue so it doesn't dry out and glue the cork in! Might want to hold off on re-corking until after the guests go home tho... Of course if you do it while they're still there, maybe they'll just ask for beer next time! dSculptor
These last night.. Then proceeded to a little madvatt'n -- started off with a blend of all of them, which was great! Then tried just the FR and OS.. fantastic nose and also great, but then we tried the ECBP/Pike -- wow! what a really great nose and the taste was the best of the night/morning, literally an explosion on the tongue!
