Masset1982
I've decided to drink less this year, I was having a pour everyday of the week for the past two month. It's been two days since I've had my last pour, next one will Friday, I'm gonna open a bottle of Henry Mc Kenna 10 BIB. Again, best wishes I y'all for 2017. Will. If I don't know I will like it, I try it at a bar or a friend's house first. Really, it's true! OK, maybe a little better... I spent part of the holidays organizing the inventory as I had lost track of purchases in recent months. It was a little scary, even for me so it might not be a bad thing to cut back a little. On the plus side I found a few things I had forgotten about and I learned that only about 64% of the various whiskies are open! You should open however many bottles it takes to get to a clean 65% open.

Currently it is a mere 64.1221374%. For a clean 65% I would have to buy 5 more bottles and then open 9 more. But I will get there! Maybe tomorrow... Of course that's just whiskey. If I figure in rum, brandy, tequila, mezcal, gin and various and sundry amari I may already be past 65% since a higher percentage of those tend to be open! You must be talking to my wife. She had me inventory our NON-bourbon holdings and to put them in three (3) categories: open, not open (as opposed to "closed" but I kept that observation to myself - don't want to risk a 43 year marriage), and MIA so get some more. That third category is my sole purpose in life tomorrow while she is in a Wegman's getting food. I am so excited, and the trunk is EMPTY!!.
