Boring, but pretty sure I'll drain the remaining 2 ounces of OGDBIB before opening something else, and my wife will enjoy a pour of D'Usse VSOP.

Was planning HWMWND Act 3 Scene 2, but had some last night and I didn't like it at all. Tasted like pickle juice followed by spicy Reunite Lambrusco   .....Just didn't hit the spot.  So, going with old tried and true EC12 :D

Going to a friend's. He is planning on opening his 2016 ER17. If he decides not to, he's got 2016 OFBB open. Those will be small pours to respect the host. I'll go RHF or ECBP for another before downshifting to something good but replaceable.

Decided to go with a smoky scotch tonight...Ardbeg 10...a good match for a cold, cloudy winter evening.

I am having a PHC Blend of Mashbills for now. Not one that I hear discussed much out of the series, but I like it.

For the beer geeks among us, I'm also making my way through a Toppling Goliath King Sue.

I'm feeling like my path is turning towards rye after this, we shall see.

Happy New Year all

Good point about downshifting guys. I'm just not sure I'll be able to do that though. Pedal to the middle! :P

Cheers! Joe

Weller 12 seems like a good way for me to close out the year.

I was thinking this but don't have an open bottle currently. Might have to change that soon.

starting with some Blanton's, then some ETL, and following that up with some Henry McKenna Bib. If I'm still awake I may go for a little EW Bib after that. Happy new year everyone!

I will absolutely be fast asleep at midnight so enjoying my pours now. Had a small 1oz pour of PVW20, then some Seasoned Wood, now some Last Millennium. Just fired up the grill for the filets and lobster tails. 70 degrees out, but fire going anyway for the ambiance (though the back door is open to cool off hah!).

2/3 W-12

1/3 OWA

Next mellowing with Mr Blanton

Knocking it out with WLW 15

That should do it:)

Ended up starting with a 2:1 Stagg Jr. ER blend. Shifted to SBS of ER17 and ER10. Moved to an OESF and then the downshift to WSR which is tasting really good. I had resolved not to buy anymore of it, but it's tasting pretty damn good and sweet.

Other than finishing off a bottle of BT that only had a very, very small pour little left in it, it'll be ETL for me tonight.

Playing a gig tonight (I'm a drummer) so my options are limited at the club I'm at. Having some WT101 but will limit myself to just this one for tonight.

Tonight is going to be an Aberlour night.  I had a nice pour of the 12 yo NCF after supper and now relaxing with the 16 yo while watching the football game.

The New Year means it will be 25 in June  that SW closed so I reached  deep into the bunker and came up with a Louisville Centennial. Of course, the cork broke and a few crumbs fell in but got her cleaned up and a Willett cork to the rescue allows for Willett Glencairn (I missed out on the Centennial ones :)).

Continuing the SW theme with the last of an Old Fitz DSP 16 too.
