Captain Morgan Jack O' Blast

Anyone ever try or hear of Jack O'Blast (a pumpkin flavored rum) ?

I saw a couple bottles on my weekly bourbon hunt and it intrigued me..

Given I am not much on Captain Morgan rum to begin with I haven't been inspired to take that much risk! One review I saw suggested about what I expected from it. A syrupy sweet liqueur with a few pumpkin pie spices scattered about that only remotely resembles rum.

I picked one up for the girls for Thanksgiving, but it sat on my bar un-opened until last weekend. It is exactly as you describe. Think Buttershots only with some pumpkin spice flavoring. I haven't had spiced rum in years, but back in the 90's sometime I switched from Captain to Sailor Jerry.

Among spiced rums Foursquare is probably my favorite but it is only about 70 proof and even a good spiced rum is something I rarely drink it on its own these days.
