I have not seen any in stores. How much does it cost in Chicago?

It is only in 375 ml bottles, right?

I love Wild Turkey, so I would love to try a bottle.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a bottle around town.

It's $50 for a 375ml at Binny's, so its pricey for a blend of 6, 8, & 12 yr. But it's 104 proof.

Following the Beam Signature Craft model, I see.

Also, I've heard secondhand that the Russells had nothing to do with these "Whiskey Barons" releases, so I'm skeptical.

Wow! That label is in great condition for being over 40 years old.

The new Bourbon County Reader has an interesting article on the history of Ripy. Ernest Ripy Jr, the signature on T's bottle note, was great-grandson of James Ripy, the Irish immigrant that started it all. Ernest also trained Jimmy Russell.

I grabbed a bottle and will likely open it up this weekend.  I'm very curious to try it.  Also may grab a bottle of the Bond & Lillard.

Really interested in hearing how this compares to Rare Breed which IIRC is a blend of the same ages.
