Spec's Waiting Lists

A couple of months back I put myself down on the waiting list for a million things.  Finally got a call from them today for...Blanton's .  I just picked up a bottle last week so no need for a new one.

 

Has anyone had any experience with the waiting list at Spec's will I eventually get some of the harder to get bottles or do they just go to there big spenders first and I'll never get anything with the exception of something like Blanton's which barely seems to qualify  as something that would require a list.
