According to a recent TTB filing, it looks like Corner Creek label is now owned by Kentucky Artisan Distillery.  It is also now listed as a Straight Bourbon Whiskey instead of just Bourbon Whiskey.  I'll be curious to see how the flavor changes or if it does since it was a sourced product to being with.  Here is the link to the TTB filing for those who are interested: https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicFormDisplay&ttbid=17103001000104

Looks like it's still sourced. It was pretty mediocre before and I have doubts that it will be any better under smaller ownership.

It has always been sourced, but for the price, I thought it was a bit better than mediocre.

I never thought it was any better than Evan Williams Black Label, so the price to me is a bit high.

I always thought it was wine that the store put in the wrong aisle.... [emoji33]

It's the same bottle that they use for Noah's Mill and Rowan Creek.

true, but those labels at least look like bourbon.

"Corner Creek" label looks and sounds like wine.

I have purchased a 5-6 bottles of this over the years.  Primarily, because it was cheap and offered a change-up to my line-up.  Basically, I got a wild hair...only 1 bottle I can say I didn't enjoy.  The rest ranged from better-than-average to wonderfully "different".  At least 2 of the bottles had this crazy vegetal note throughout that really put it in the bizzaro category, but made for a very enjoyable drink when my palate and mood felt like taking a side trip off the reservation.

This is a four-grainer, isn't it?  Anyone know who they source from?

It at least was a four-grainer at one time.  I believe CCD sourced from KBD, who could have sourced from anyone, obviously.  So, it could be pretty much anything.  FWIW, Chuck Cowdery in his book Bourbon, Straight surmised that it was most likely a mingling of wheated bourbon and rye bourbon, rather than a 4-grain mash.  That info is from 2004, so much could have happened since.
