Nope. I got it.

Bunch a hypocrites act like they would not do if it was a Weller 12 or pappy

well this is my pappy

next time I'll just keep the goods to myself

I usually don't engage in these type of discussions but most of us would not clean out a store of a limited offering, if more than one bottle were available.  In fact, some of us will pass on reasonably priced limited offerings because its not in our wheelhouse or we already have some, and then let others know where they can get it so they can enjoy it.

While it may not feel like it, we aren't passing judgement but rather passing along advice.  Part of the fun of the journey is finding a rare bottling you enjoy but another part of it is sharing information so others may find similar enjoyment.  If you had said you found it and bought a couple bottles and could point someone to a few remaining bottles, you would have been a hero.

I notice you haven't posted much in these forums.  Don't let this feedback upset you.  This forum is known for its honesty, bluntness and enjoyment of bourbon.  Often we bust each others balls for good and for bad.  Just consider this feedback nothing more.

mbroo:  well said.  For those who missed the K&L offering (like me) Hedonism Wines in the UK has them.  With shipping to NJ, two set me back 212 pounds.  Not THAT much more than K&L.  Website showed 24 - now 22 available.

I also saw this last night but passed as I had ordered some from Master of Malt a few weeks back (I think they had 4 barrels, but I chose two from the same as it was bottled on my son's date of birth).

Would have like to have grabbed a SFTB but having just gotten back from vacation the funds were strapped.

I have been guilty of grabbing rhe last bottle a time or two but the only time I ever cleaned out a shelf was 3 bottles of ETL. They said they were getting more soon.  Typically I'm not clearing a shelf also cause I couldn't afford to!

kL wine. They had over 100 each gold and sftb.

$99 was cost for both.

750 ml.  SO IT WAS MADE FOR US MARKET

Dont know know why gold was same price but it was.  And it sold out faster than sftb.

I guess sftb and gold coming to USA.

I've purchased Blantons Silver in 750ml that was NOT made for US Market....

Was it only available out of one store? It looked like it.

My understanding is that Hollywood got it first but there is more in transit to the North so there will be a second wave.

I'll be very curious when folks get these to see if they are really 750 ml bottles.

Look up the store and notice where they have locations.

What goods are you keeping to yourself?  K&L isn't an unknown store and it wasn't too difficult to figure out they had these bottles before the sale went live.  You didn't break some huge news to the world.

Taking more than your share is poor form no matter if it's your be all end all.  It's also a good way to get yourself cut off from limited stuff at K&L...
