Heading to Charlotte in the next few weeks for business, never been before, any stores I should check out.

I assume you are talking about Charlotte, NC?

 

If yes, then you may find some decent stuff at NC ABC stores....they have Barrell Bourbon and Virgin 7yr 101 Bourbon, two of my favorite high and low end bottles.

 

But NC is a control state, so the selection kind of sucks overall. If you can, you should cross the border to SC and check out 4 shops just on the SC side of the border:

 

Off I-77 - Stateline Beverage Warehouse and Frugal McDoogal in Ft. Mill

Off 521 - Southern Spirits and Stateline Elite in Indian Land.

What he said above - those are the shops to hit.  Won't find anything rare but Stateline Elite Indian Land has some SB stuff currently - WTKS and EC that come to mind right off
