The website claims sourced 5, 6 and 8yo bourbon made in 3000 gallon pot stills. That would be bigger than the stills at Woodford! Just who the heck would that be???

Sazerac recently bought the new distillery in Tennessee that has similar sized 2500 gallon pots but that hasn't been around long enough. 3000 gallon pot stills would be pretty big! Midleton has some that are 5 times that size but you can't make bourbon in Ireland!

Seems just a wee bit suspicious to me. But I am only going by what I see online. Never seen it or tried it myself.

I will have to keep an eye out for this next time I am in TN. Never heard of it before now.  Seems like a fairly reasonable buy for 5yr MGP at $40, but no way at $60.

If it's sourced from MGP, it must have "distilled in Indiana" somewhere on the label.  There should be some state as the source.

I expect MGP has some pretty big stills.

They have an approximately 48 inch column according to Chuck Cowdery. Maybe they have a pot still thumper as well but I don't think they, or any of the major producers for that matter, are making all pot still bourbon other than Woodford (who then blends it with column distilled bourbon from B-F in most cases).

The claim to have pot distilled bourbon from "3000 gallon pot stills" is what is hard to figure.

^^^^Article reads like a 'copy and paste' from about 172 other 'crafts' that have opened in the past decade.
