Anyone tried the Remus Repeal Reserve yet? Saw it for the first time today. $75. I know it's one of MGP's house brands now and it's a blend of mashbills at 11/12 years I think. I just haven't heard any reviews or anything on it yet.....

Can't see myself dropping $30 for this bottle, let alone $75.  I just have never been a fan of MGP bourbons, regardless of bottler.  Very milquetoast whiskey to me.

I also have never been blown away from MGP bourbon, which is why I passed and asked. Now if this was an MGP Rye of similar age, I wouldn't hesitate at all to take a chance on it

I really like SAOS. How this is more expensive than offerings of similar age and proof of there product by NDPs makes no sense to me.

I seem to recall that the George Remus brand is owned by MGP.  I would probably give it a go at 1/2 this price.  In today's market, I can understand why they believe they can ask $75 for a 11/12 year old bourbon.  I am not saying it is right but it is the market we are in.  I won't pay it.  But, someone will.
