Old Prentice Distillery

Found this from 1999 by Chuck Cowdery..while looking up Old Prentice Distillery. Thought it might be of interest to a few on here.  The history forum is quite informative.

If you do the Four Roses Distillery tour, you will see inside and old “Old Joe Distillery” sign.

With a little luck on my own, and the graciousness of a few fellow members here, I was able to have enjoyed a number of ER 10 101's over the years. Most of them had "Bottled By Old Prentice Company Frankfort, KY" on the labels. A couple had "Bottled By Old Prentice Company New Orleans, LA" on the labels.

 

FWIW, I still have a couple.

On winesearcher there is an auction for 2010 ER17 and it shows Old Prentice (BT)  as the producer. Were there still references to OP as late as 2010 productions?
