Clifford
Is John J Bowman the juice that goes into Abraham Bowman Ltd Eds Barrels. If not what?
EarthQuake
Bowman is subsidiary of Sazerac, and the Bowman line has multiple products such as John J Bowman Single Barrel, Abraham Bowman Limited Edition, etc. As far as I am aware, they get new make from Buffalo Trace (who is also owned by Sazerac) re-distill it, and age it in their facilities. Supposedly, they use both BT #1 and #2 mash bills. Edited December 10, 2017 by EarthQuake
kevinbrink
Wasn't there a wheated Abraham Bowman at some point?

silverc
It's not bad, but I didn't think it was all that great. I've had many other bourbons that were much better for less than $70. I did like it better than the Abe Bowman High Rye.
$helby
I liked it enough to buy an additional bottle for the bunker. First bottle long gone. I do agree with silverc that it suits my taste buds better than the AB High Rye. It was a one and done bottle.
JoeTerp
I really liked the Wheat, but thought it could have been even better at a higher proof.

I'm mostly sure here, BT has three 1, 2, & wheated, they also have a couple Rye Mashbills (Sazerac & CEHT). Under the Sazerac umbrella there is also another mashbill for Barton and Barton makes rye as well that they primarily sell as Fleischman's but also source out. There are also a number of experiments in their warehouses, some of which have been released as EH Taylor LE's, some as BT Experimental collection and some never see the light of day. Anyone else can correct me if I missed something.
