ER10 PS Bayway Barrel 365.  Great purity.  Nicely balanced.  Vanilla, hint of orange and barrel notes.  These ER10 private selections are really great value pours.

Pulled out some Old Fitz BiB, after a little WSR earlier.  Gonna need to stretch out the 4 handles I got shelved for awhile, since the comments I was getting on my Bourbon Pilgrimage back to the Holy Lands (KY) pre-Christmas was that it's possibly discontinued (only temporarily I hope).  Can anyone positively confirm or deny that?

The shelves were fully loaded as recently as New Year's day...

Onto RHF. Usually a winner for me, but 2nite it is not speaking to me. Probably will go back to Baker's

Last night was some MM 46 PS with the French Mocha staves and some FRSmB, which is always a pleasing pour.

Got a chance to do a SBS with the OF 1897 and OF 1920. Big difference in color goes out to the 1920, also bigger caramel note, vanilla, apple, cinnamon, pretty nice dry finish, nice little burn as well. A bigger nod out to the OF 1920.

Was a Momma's BBQ in Louisville after the lady Cardinals game today.  Had a pour of W12 with an order of burnt ends.  They have a really good bourbon list and . . . if you're in Louisville stop by Momma's and pray that they have burnt ends that day.  To say they were awesome is a huge understatement.

Just finished off a bottle of ECBP B517.  I found the sweet spot at 105 proof.  I have two more bottles so I am a happy camper.  I will probably try to see if I can round up another bottle or two this week or maybe a bottle of C917.

Followed up with a pour of RRSiB.  The weekend is now complete.

Finishing off the night with a great whiskey, bookers. I get a great taste of apple, caramel and some chocolate. So good.

SAOS SiB 11 year. Amazing bourbon. Finally understand the hype (and hoarding) that goes with this name. Get lots of cherry, honey, and brown butter notes with a deep pipe tobacco finish. Wish I had picked up more.

They were kind of the first two bottles I saw tonight, so I decided what the heck, do a SBS. Smooth Ambler 9 year single barrel, 110.2 proof (I think an Astor barrel), and CEHTBP 127.2 proof. Conclusion, both delicious. Different, with the EHT having more of that BT character, with the SA being a bit darker in flavor. But both superb whiskeys at around $80 apiece.
